Within November and December our company performed a total reconstruction of lining of the annealing furnace on "Elektrostal" JSC.
Thermal resistance in a reducing environment was the main requirements for the lining.
In the design it was decided to use as a working layer material NK-30 of our production.
The material is characterized by practically complete absence of impurities (content of Fe2O3, TiO2, alkalis in sum is less than 0.1%), thus it can be used at temperatures above 1500 degrees in a reducing atmosphere, at a high heat resistance (cycles of heating-cooling).
