Ramming mixes are materials supplied as free-flowing powders or dampened mixes ready for use. They are tamped with the use of a stationary mould; in certain circumstances vibration is applied.
They are designed for packing gaps around shaped products in a lining for kilns, steel-teeming and intermediate ladles, ceilings and walls of furnaces.
